Louise and Modesta have over 10 years combined experience of working for Anglia Orthodontics
Cathy undertook her orthodontic therapy training at the Post Graduate Dental Institute in Edinburgh. Having qualified in 2013 she is affiliated with the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh. Prior to qualifying as an orthodontic therapist she pursued a career as a general nurse, becoming a ward sister and Practice Development Nurse. Cathy then changed careers and whilst working as a dental nurse gained a qualification in orthodontic nursing which is when she realised her true vocation was in orthodontic therapy. She endeavours to keep fit (mainly in the form of combat fitness) within the restraints of raising two wonderful children and actively participating in village life. She is a honorary treasurer for Spartans Football Club and is a member of a weekly pub quiz team.
Claire began working in Dentistry as a receptionist in 2005. She quickly developed an interest in dental nursing and moved on to working in surgery. Claire passed the National Certificate in Dental Nursing in 2009 and the National Certificate in Dental Radiography in 2011. She has recently graduated from The Royal College of Surgeons, England with a Diploma in Orthodontic Therapy. She finds working in orthodontics very rewarding and loves to see the difference it can make. Outside of work Claire enjoys baking and has recently taken up running.
Daniel started his orthodontic journey in Bristol as a trainee orthodontic therapist and soon graduated in 2012 with a diploma in orthodontic therapy from the royal college of surgeons. Previous to this he qualified as a dental nurse and completed a post qualification in dental radiography. After relocating Daniel joined the team in August 2017 and has been working with us since.
Sian began working at Anglia Orthodontics in 2006 when the practice was first established and gained her NEBDN Certificate in Dental Nursing in July 2008. Sian was our first successful candidate to get onto an Orthodontic Therapy course . In June 2010 she qualified as an Orthodontic therapist and graduated from the Royal College of Surgeons, England. Sian then went on to gain the BDA Qualification in Dental Radiography in 2013. Outside of work Sian enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her lovely sprocker spaniel. She also enjoys travelling, reading and keeping fit.
Victoria joined the team in August 2012 as a trainee dental nurse, she qualified in 2014. She then went on to completing a qualification in Dental Radiography in 2015. Quickly after this was accepted on to the Orthodontic Therapy course based in Bristol and graduated from the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh in 2016. She has now begun an Oral Health Education course with the BDA. Prior to taking an interest in Orthodontics she completed at York St John University a degree in Health Practice and Rehabilitation. Victoria enjoys learning and relishes in pushing herself to try new things and expand her knowledge. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, travelling and artwork.
The rest of the team comprises nine effective and efficient dental nurses and our fabulous receptionists, without whom nothing would ever happen.
