It’s called Dental Monitoring and it means you can access remote orthodontic treatment from wherever you are.

What is Dental Monitoring?

Dental monitoring is an exciting new smartphone app that enables our Specialist Orthodontists to monitor your treatment progress remotely. Instead of attending regular visits to our clinic, we can keep an eye on the movement of your teeth as regularly as we need to. This means fewer visits to our practice; one less thing you have to fit into your busy schedule.

How does Dental Monitoring work?

Once you have decided on your orthodontic treatment and have undergone an orthodontic assessment, you’ll be ready to go home with your new aligners. Before you go, we will get you set up with the Dental Monitoring smartphone app.

You’ll be required to upload images of your teeth at pre-arranged intervals via the app which our specialist orthodontist will see. He’ll assess the images you take to make sure your teeth are moving in line with your treatment plan. This advanced tracking system means that your treatment will stay on track and your results will be shaped by your biology and compliance, rather than relying on an assumed standard time frame. It also has the potential to speed up treatment.
