NHS orthodontic treatment

Children under the age of 18 are eligible for orthodontic treatment under the NHS. However, we can only accept NHS patients referred to us by their general dentist.

At Anglia Orthodontics we adhere to strict government guidelines. This means we’re unable to provide brace treatment to all patients referred on the NHS and can only treat those with severe cases who require it on the grounds of dental health.

Please note the NHS does not provide treatment for all patients e.g. too mild clinically. You will be attending an NHS orthodontic assessment if you wish to hear our alternative private options to the treatment that is provided on the NHS or you are too mild for the NHS or just wish more choice with quicker start time,  choice of practice, aesthetic clear brackets, evening appointments or clear almost invisible aligners. Please talk to the specialist orthodontist on your first visit or talk to our private coordinator before your appointment, or on the day.  Please note we can not mix NHS with private treatment.  It is one or the other from the start.
