Sian began working at Anglia Orthodontics in 2006 when the practice was first established and went on to gain the National Certificate in Dental Nursing in 2008. Sian was our first successful candidate to get onto an orthodontic therapy course, based in Swansea. In 2010 Sian obtained her Diploma in Orthodontic Therapy and graduated from the Royal College of Surgeons, England. More recently Sian has gained the BDA Qualification in Dental Radiography. In her spare time Sian enjoys socializing with friends, reading, keeping fit and has a keen interest in making jewellery.
Cathy undertook her orthodontic therapy training at the Post Graduate Dental Institute in Edinburgh. Having qualified in 2013 she is affiliated with the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh. Prior to qualifying as an orthodontic therapist she pursued a career as a general nurse, becoming a ward sister and Practice Development Nurse. Cathy then changed careers and whilst working as a dental nurse gained a qualification in orthodontic nursing which is when she realised her true vocation was in orthodontic therapy. She endeavours to keep fit (mainly in the form of combat fitness) within the restraints of raising two wonderful children and actively participating in village life. She is a honorary treasurer for Spartans Football Club and is a member of a weekly pub quiz team.
Claire began working in Dentistry as a receptionist in 2005. She quickly developed an interest in dental nursing and moved on to working in surgery. Claire passed the National Certificate in Dental Nursing in 2009 and the National Certificate in Dental Radiography in 2011. She has recently graduated from The Royal College of Surgeons, England with a Diploma in Orthodontic Therapy. She finds working in orthodontics very rewarding and loves to see the difference it can make. Outside of work Claire enjoys baking and has recently taken up running.
